ooh, newsflash....

we went to the Pet Expo Saturday with our dogs, and had a lot of fun... Ed saw a teensy beagle, 8" tall, up for adoption.. (someone else wants her, tho, so we're not getting her..) but suddenly the idea of another Rescue dog isn't so far-fetched any more..

The next day, with me out of the picture and out of commision, lol, he spent the day wandering the web... whereby he decided he'd like to adopt a Dobie, having had them in the past...

Sunday night when I woke up he announced this to me....

but he didn't see any dogs he liked.

Soo.. I did a little research and found this page..

I wrote to the people this morning, and while this dog has a ways to go.. we'll be keeping an eye on him... *fingers crossed!*

I'd much rather adopt an animal that's been thru hell and be able to offer him a good life, I think.

Oh.. and Heather, I take a combo of things for sleep. Most of the things I took before (Ambien, etc.) do not go with my current meds.

Well, I'm glad you'll be getting some sleep, but we'll miss those late night conversations!!

As you might have gathered, what I'm taking doesn't always help me sleep right now, either!!

Ambien is literally my life saver. Without it I think I would be dead by now.

The doctor has tried me on several different things. Ambien seems to be the only that really works for me.

Aw.. Yeah, it keeps happening to me, too. I post, wait a few mins, drift off, lose track of time and then go.. **oh yeah!** and come back.
