I'm ok. Hate my job. Almost went of a bridge today. Um... hate my job. Trying not to get sick. Hate my job. Did I mention I hate my job?
*fades*
tenshi i kinda get the feeling you hate your job....
dont know where that feeling came from.....
*slinkies*
I wouldnt hate my job so much if they cared about anyone. After almost going off a bridge on my way to work this morning... and being so shaken up that I broke down at work and couldnt talk or type. They told me that "Anyone who left early due to the weather or weather caused issues would not have an excused absense" and that with people calling off leaving could lead right to termination.
Hello Forgotten Purity.

Tenshi,
Where in the heck do you work??
That sounds unbelievably sucky.
When I used to work for other people, every company I worked for had the decency to let employees go home early due to weather? What employer wants to risk having their employees killed driving in ice and hail??

Well, if you hate your job, why don't you just get a different one?
It may sound a bit difficult, but it's a simple solution. After all, what's life without happiness; happiness without materialism; materialism without money; money without a job; a job without happiness?

This is the note I put for you under your announcement response:
Awesome!
Thanks, FP. Do you want to be my "partner in crime?" We can be the Siskel and Ebert of the LG-15 world!
=P that made me feel so awesome.

I work for a Lasik company in the only call center they have for all the centers across the nation. Because we are "a medical facility" and service the whole US we have to be there even if it's a Level 3 snow emergancy. With a Level 3 snow emergancy it's illigal to drive save for medical personel and medical emergancies. Our company considers us medical personel even though all we do is answer phones. Oh and and we work in the corporate center and right above one of there centers, but do they have to come on a level 3? NOOOOO. Ok I'm ranting again.
*slinks sheepishly into the shadows again*

Not so much a hubby or kids. But a boyfriend and pets. I am the bread winner that's for damn sure. The BF makes a good living, but with the child support he has to pay to his ex-b... um wife. She gets most of the money.

FP, Seriously, I would love the help.
I know I need to start a new page. I think that 15 on one page is ENOUGH and that I need to move all that data to another page and start fresh. In fact, I might even do that tonight.
Tenshi, I would rant, too. Ten years ago, I worked in a bank. We came in after hours. We had to wear dresses or suits, even though we had NO CUSTOMERS!!
You see, the concern was that we might not FEEL professional and thus do sloppy work.
I stay at home in my PJ's every day until 4. Really. I also work like a dog most of the time.... except for when I'm napping or making videos or sock puppets.
