Jess, I have to. I was married to a man from Scotland.. We would spend 3 wks in the UK and 3 wks here for a long time.

I only drove through England on the way to the airport. I hung out in Perth, Edinburgh, etc.

Oh wow! I've never been to Scotland, but I want to visit! That and Ireland...well actually I want to visit lots of places lol ;)

Yes, on our wedding day. He and his father did.

The minister said, "Laura Hall, do you take this man, John Paxton, to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

My mouth fell open, stunned. I thought.. OMG.. He's ruining my wedding.. must be the kilt..

Moments later, uproarious laughter.

Blushing minister, restates with "husband."

I say, "I do."

Um. It's ok. Sort of like a smaller version of London these days. Lots and lots to do here. Hundreds of big name shops, cinemas, pubs, clubs etc. And it's got the Thames running through it, which is nice. And it's got a Premiership football team these days too!! (which is where you'll find me most Saturdays!!

I have to go VERY soon, too.

Because of my special education background, I go out in the afternoon to tutor students who have severe learning disabilites, M-Th.

Yeah Scottish men do like wearing kilts on their wedding days!!
