I'm a fan of 'any non real violence' For example, slapping with a fish is fine because people don't get smacked with fish in real life. Likewise, things like smiley violence or stepping on a hidden rake in the grass would be okay.

Guns, slapping and such are borderline. This is the friendliest place in the forum and it should stay that way!

I just want to work this out for the best interests of the group. When I came up with the rule, Apo said that he could see it was based on caring for the community and that he supported it.

Now, people are just teasing me about it, I guess.

I'm flexible. If this group does NOT want the rule, let me know.

My job makes me a big fan of rules, but I guess with this forum being established as one that escaped from the rules, people will be generally reluctant to start having rules, however good or bad they are.

So maybe it's the concept of having rules that's the issue rather than the rules themselves!!

I have a dual role, because Ambassadors are Moderators too. We wear two hats.

As an Ambassador, I try to accomodate everyone and help them feel supported and free to express themselves.

As a moderator, I want to protect this group so that it can stay a warm and caring place.

well, i only "fight" with cloud, and they're friendly fights! no real danger! at least i hope that he understands it! it's just a little practice, the commander has to be on shape right?
