lanthanides are blood anticouagalants. i spelled that wrong. meh

meaning that they stop the blood from clotting. medications that are anti-couagalants are warfarin, heparin, etc.

epogen is supposed to help blood clotting by adding more rbc.

i think i have something but I can't put my finger on it totally

maybe bree's dad was getting at something along the lines of..

if they need thick blood to do the ceremony (hence the epogen to help it clot), then thin your blood out (with lanthanides?) and you won't be as desirable.

idk.. thats what i thought of when i read that. but it didn't come out as logically as it sounded in my head..

Phew, I am glad I read Daniel's copy of the letter first. I was worried cuz I started from the back (pg 7) and read the "TEXT" copy posted.
Rough translation, with some spelling errors, I got excited. You know, since Bree's dad was a Doc or Chemist or something, I couldn't imagine him spelling "periodic" incorrectly. I thought it was a clue...oh well.
