I've also seen it in a psychiatric ward...

so I don't know how much that will help.

Besides; ANYONE can detatch themselves from a show if they work at it. (that's how i can watch some scary movies )

I've been the regressee! We've got a lot of bipolar in the family. Maybe omegawoman is right, though-- I've never witnessed a drug related breakdown, she could be crashing from epogen and spinart?

i think, at this point, all this confirms is that this is, as another posted called it, "Psychological Torture x 10000"

Wonder if this indicates bad brainwashing and such earlier in her childhood...

True, bipolar disorder has many different levels and people have different "swings". It just looks more to me like a drug detox to me, but maybe it is a combination of both a mental ordeal and drug detox? I am not really familiar with regression, but now I am interested in learning more.

It's so sad to see Bree like this. I hate to see people who honestly don't know what's going on. Especially when you know hem to be so innocent. I start to cry. Except know because I am excited to see a new vid with Bree!

and again i repeat "maybe it's different person to person"

and what i'm saying about the regression is that it has typical characteristics of inappropriate (like "uh, why'd u do that?") childlike behavior. could be her angry bits are because she's feeling threatened (when my mom would regress, she'd only get mad when we'd begin to say she needs to talk about what's scaring her, because her mind wants to do anything nessecary to get away from that topic)

Okay - read through everything.

First of all, everyone seems to think that Bree doesn't remember ANYTHING from before she was with the Order. That isn't the impression I got at all. She remembers everything, but she's changed so much that she's having a hard time viewing her memories from a clear perspective. When she looked at P.Monkey, I thought she said "I remember you." It was so sad.

Second of all, I suppose it's possible she has bipolar disorder, but I really don't think so. I think she is going through withdrawal or something - but she didn't just develop a mental disorder in less than a month... I agree with everyone who is talking about regression. As for the aging thing and whatever - I'm getting the impression that the Order wants to keep her psychologically (and maybe even physically, by depriving her of nutrients) at a young age. This may relate to her "purity bond" -- as in, they may feel that she needs to stay a child to remain pure.

Finally -- I don't think she got fat at all. I think she got skinny. Her hair was messy and she was making some madd weird faces that kind of distorted her cheeks.

Whoa man, didn't want to push any buttons. I think, though, that we can all agree that Bree is probably not bipolar.

Haha, when my mom regressed I didn't have to go to school! I've got a real soft spot for The Price Is Right now

Yeah, earlier in the series, the "Purity Bond" was talked about more, and the idea of the purity being of mind was tossed about. This idea DOES seem stronger when viewing the vid; it was sad when she looked at P. Monkey, but it almost seemed like a kind of "I remember you, and I like you" kind of thing.

I made the comparison to my bipolar freakouts/PTS freakouts, but it was less about the bipolar and more about the freakout side of it. Someone had thought it was overacted so I merely listed out experiences I've had, and what i've witnessed my friend's have while freaking out.

I do agree that its a drug related crash/regression.
