I had one for a long time that was two little girls, one in a pink dress and one in a blue dress. This is a painting by Renoir, called The Pink and Blue Girls, or the Cahen d'Anvers Girls. The one I have now is a painting of their sister, which is the one I wanted in the first place. I have a copy of this painting, also by Renoir, and everyone says that I bear a stiking resemblence to her. It was painted in 1880, and her sisters were painted in 1881. This painting is called Irene Cahen d'Anvers (which was her name).

They were from belgium...lol...Anvers is the Dutch/french way of saying Antwerp.

I love those paintings. I love Renoir! Everyone says I look like Irene. People would come to our house and say "She looks like Samantha!" lol
