MORE!!! Its getting interesting!

"but you know what,
i really think that its like, it's like
if you came into a... (can't make out one are two words...house maybe)
and you were the only one happy (?)
and you are all like OOOO
and then somebody else is all like grrrrr
and your like, and you're trying to act(?) oooooo
and they're trying fight you
and like grr
and so theres happy and there sad are fighting each other
then eventually sad ... happy (one word...can't figure it out)
can't be so happy. they all end up being like:
huh ooooooo you know what
people are just being mean to me
so i think, i think that, the
negative energy will always win over the positive energy
not always, but most of the time
because if..
I think..
you know..

and they are all like ' i'm being sad'
and you start...
...oooooo happy
or i just think they
push each other away

hopeless
i really think that is what happens because
what else is going to happen, you know?"

notice the talk about the negative energy winning over the positive energy....

this is an interesting thought that she is having during this time in her life don't you think?

when ever we try to clean up the track the same thing happens.
Words and piece of the words go missing.
We think there is a background noise that the microphone that they are using is picking up. This background noise is at the same pitch as her voice. So when te program searches for the background noise, it also picks up Bree's voice.
So unfortunately fo us we get a track that honestly in places sounds like a slowed down bree sayng "dog is eating cat"
its amusing to listen to but annoying.
We just have really crappy software on the computers here. The studio is designed only to do demo recordings and mixings for underground hip-hop and rock bands. Its a bsement studio..nowheres fancy. haha

But we're looking into going into someone elses studio. I really want to get the track cleaned up enough so we can hear clearer what she's saying and know for sure this is what she's saying.
We jsut keep fiddling around with the volume levels and listening to it on huge ass speakers.

I swear i'm not going to be able to hear for a week after this.

what we got so far:

Wow...you guys should be commended for going to all this trouble!

I can't help but think, though, that it's meaningless. My guess is they wanted to do a sped-up part and just asked Bree to ramble and make lots of tone changes so it would sound interesting. So she's rambling.

I could be wrong, but there's nothing in the transcript to make me think there's anything new beyond what she already said in the video...

you are right in a sense...

the negative energy statement is really catching my eye.

and this is no trouble. i know a guy who has a recording studio and he loves the series but he just doesn't have time to acually get into it.

~edit:
there is one piece of the track that is really annoying us. We're trying our asses off to figure out what she is saying but we can't clearly get it...
it almot sounds like shes saying "sadness becomes a pawn," but i think thats my head trying to connect what she's saying to opaphid.
if someone would like to help its at about 32 seconds into the speech....

I think the sped up part is just to show that she can be long-winded and kind of confusing because she doesn't know what she's talking about. If she did she wouldn't have to ask "why can't we be happy all the time?"

Just Bree being naive about the world and feelings and blahblah because she's sheltered, I think. But I agree that her parents are probably more worried than sad, perhaps even defeated.

Weeeee'll seeeee.

My feeling is that the most suggestive part of this vid is Bree's idea that we get sad so we'll change something to make us happy again. She believes, I think, that she was happy when she was all into preparing for the ceremony, and she only got sad when Daniel got involved and eventually convinced her to rethink the ceremony stuff.

Maybe this is setting up a situation where she talks to the deacons and decides the best way to get happy again is to revert to Ceremony Prep Bree? (Kind of like Prom Date Barbie, only scarier.)

She's also sad because her parents are sad, and they're sad because the deacons didn't react well to finding out Bree wants out. Then again, sad is better than dead. The question is, why are Bree's parents sad? Is it because they found something out? Something potentially harmful to Bree?

Most importantly, Bree gives us a lesson about animals and intelligence, when it comes to sadness. She notes that when Owen gets sad, he hides in his shell. When Thor gets sad, he gets angry! *growl* But Purple Monkey never gets sad!

Bree previously equates expressing sadness to intelligence, noting the relatively high intelligence of an elephant. Therefore, we can assume that Owen and Thor are intelligent, and Monkey is not! *gasp* He does know how to groove though!

I liked this video!
Doesn't that not make sense because monkeys are smarter than turtles and bears, so shouldn't Purple Monkey express more sadness and be sad more often because monkeys are more intelligent?
Monkeys in general possess higher learning than many animals. But like people, not all monkeys are created equal. I suppose we're to assume that Purple Monkey just isn't all that bright! :)
Oh yes, and that statement coming from Owen's helper, lol

Temposs wrote:There have definitely been bottles visible in several other videos. About 4 of them before the "In the Park" video have at least one bottle visible. Seems to be at least the water bottle. "In The Park" shows a different water bottle and she seems to take her iron pills out of something besides a bottle, but that might just be for portability or something.

It might be that her Dad has asked her to start taking the pills again "just for the time being" without telling her anything else. Maybe she wants to throw them away and has them out for that reason.

There definitely seem to be serious consequences for Bree not going through with the ceremony. Bree knows this, even if she doesn't know what the consequences are specifically. It seems her parents have a decision to make...

The illustration with the stuffed animals is in my opinion portending a choice Bree has to make in how to react to the thing causing the sadness of her parents(i.e. the consequence of refusing the ceremony). She could run and hide. She could get angry and fight. Or she could just stay optimistic and naive(which she had been doing before she decided against going through with the ceremony).
wow, very good analysis with the stuffed animals.
