I interpretated that as a kind of warning if you combine those two of her videos it is like she was saying it isn't your choice whether or not you do the ceremony, look what happend last time this girl and her family disapeared. Kind of threat like but done in a very nice way.

OK, i've only read the first 3 pages of this thread so far, and there are 6 pages at the time I'm writing this.

I don't have a problem with the video. I don't have a problem with the way she's behaving. First off, she did say she was concerned. Also, she said exactly what I would have said (concerned-wise) if I were her and Bree was a real friend of mine. What can she do really? She's on the other side of the world. She said she hoped everything was alright because she hadn't heard from Bree "in a while." Even if she had seen the last two videos, those were what, a couple days ago? That's still been "a while" ago. AND, Bree hasn't responded to Gemma's videos "in a while" either.

Secondly, first everyone complains that Gemma's too dark and spooky and nasty tempered, now everyone's complaining that she's too light hearted and "fluffy." Give her a break people!! Good grief!

I have had a rough day so I can't think straight to give any other thoughts at the moment.

wow. I never had feelings regarding her personality, she can be w/e she likes. I just wanted her to wear color! Which she did today YAY! anyway, now I can't watch it again? Or did I hallucinate the whole vid thing

edit: disregard me not being able to watch it anymore, prob mysteriously resolved.

I liked the video. I like the balance of intense storyline, with more light hearted storyline. Go Gemma!

Dont worry, Im sure we will find out about Danny and Bree soon enough.

How did Gemma miss Bree's last vids? Does she mean she hasn't heard from Bree as far as Bree posting a vlog to Gemma?

I think she means that she hasnt heard from bree in the last 2 days, like the rest of us.

Gemma is responing to comments on the Youtube post but she isn't adding very much, she said that she HAS seen Bree's videos, and is worried, other that that she is just saying thank you to compliments.

Most of your theory sounds good to me, but the problem is I can't see how her flatmates could delete the videos OFF AN ENTIRE WEBSITE and not make them invisible to us too.

BK, I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with you here. I think complaining that a particular vid doesn't advance the storyline, and doesn't make sense given what has gone before, is part of a legitimate discussion of that vid. (Flaming one another, OTOH, doesn't seem to me to be part of such a discussion.)

Okay I'm gonna nit pick like everyone once used to do, and go over what's been said.
Gemma either:
*Hasn't seen Bree's video's for whatever reason.
*Has seen them, but is talking in code, for some reason.

She mentions her room mates as beast:
*Because they're plain annoying, and she is entertaining us, while the suspense is mounting, and cause the creators are slowly reverting the vlogs to how they used to be.
*Or she is suggesting that the closest people to Bree are actually Beast, and to be Weary, and only trust DanielBeasts. The roommates, who could be people close to Bree may seem nice at first, and may have different beliefs to Bree. Bree might end up thinking that maybe, she is thinking in the wrong.. but not to believe it.

The trail of crumbs:
*Room mates are far too messy and don't care. She is humouring us.
*significance that Gemma is leaving Bree a trail, and leaving clues, but Bree is just shrugging Gemma off?

Good god, I can't believe I had to read six pages before we got to some video discussion. I wonder, too, if there is more in this video than its seeming triviality, because it does seem so incongruous and so out of character for a young woman who's so far been so concerned for her former friend. The trail of crumbs does seem oddly coincidental, given that we've got B and D on a hunt for something (someone) missing.

So the cookies in the tin were missing, and a trail of evidence led to the perpetrator's bedroom. If we start at the house of the parents who are missing, where will the crumb trail lead?

Perhaps one day they plan on us actually having to use those maps that Daniel found in Lucy's apartment. As far as I know we were never sure what they were for.

Yes, it's obnoxious that as her friend she did not show more concern for Bree. Obviously she missed a few friend classes. We've all known people who viewed things as "oh, your dog died? Well I stubbed my toe, and it's horrible!"
My point simply is, yes, she is obviously a bad friend for not showing enough concern if she has seen the videos.
But remember that she never said these vlogs were just for Bree. She said that Bree inspired her to start one. So her audience is not just Bree, but anyone who might come across her videos and want to know more about her life. Imagine how obnoxious it would be in the real world if someone started a vlog, and then proved that the only thing of interest in their life is to comment about someone else's life. Yes, there may be some out there like that, but are they intriguing?
If Gemma was a real person she would still vlog about her own life, since she wants to tell her story, and not just rehash someone else's. She could do that by joining the forums.

i agree.
yeah so i was kind of pissed when i saw this too. but the part where she's faking an argument reminded me of bree's videos (although i think they could have shortened the segment a bit). as we all know, daniel's life is centered entirely around bree's. we don't know anything about daniel except his feelings about bree and her life. maybe the creators wanted to bring in another full character to remind us that bree lives on earth, not breeniverse or w/e.
