Agh... *takes thread further off-topic momentarily*

You probably don't care to read my opinion but you should let posting come as it may. I can tell you from past experience that setting a goal to reach a certain level in post count by a certain time isn't very practical. The post-whoring that ensues clogs up the Forum with filth and pisses a lot of people off.

So I humbly beseech you not to go on another post-whoring spree to Thor's Hammer. If you take your time, you'll make 60 or so intelligent posts to that next level that will be worthy of the title.

This wasn't meant to be "grr, got to keep those kids in line" FP. Just stating an opinion...

i aint hatin, i even said i was a sour-puss. just wanted to put in my $0.02.

and if you wanna give shout outs to peeps you think are cool or whatever, you better plan on saying everyone on the boards is cool or youre gonna offend people anyway. theres users who have a problem with me, of that im sure. but i speak my mind and thats what the boards are for.

Absynth wants to shout ou to ALL the awesome peeps that participate in the wonderful experience we know as LG15. Mad Props to all who help with puzzles and to anyone else out there, even you lurkers!!!

we LOVE you guys!

Great video! I'm not just saying that because I got a shout out in it either

Actually, I agree with you that Daniel, Jonas and Bree probably did talk about what to do in an emergency because after seeing your theory...it did seem really rehersed that Bree ran right towards Daniel when everything went wrong.

P.S. Good luck getting to Thors Hammer (I'm almost up to 500 post finally...I don't remember what that gets me to though lol)

shout at this

I enjoyed your opinion. Someone has to make the case for quality versus quantity. I have been involved in this board since the middle of September and I can't imagine how someone, anyone for example, joins a week ago and has thousands of posts. How can people have so much to say about 2 minute videos?

Absynth, I do read you. However, I teach in a high school, so I am pretty used to cliquish behavior. As I am probably much older than you and most of the folks on this particular thread, realize that it is with a chuckle and a roll of the eyes that some more mature folks view much of the youthful vigor and antics that take place. Everyone needs a way to get what they need, I guess. And I do presume that your shout out was aimed at me, right. (If not, I'll be, like, totally crushed and, like, so sad and, like, deeply bothered.)

I'm pretty cranky this evening (which is really not like me...maybe it's the lack of a lg15 video that will bring resolution to Bree's situation). Anyhow, I just thought I'd read through this thread and be a buzz-killer, wet blanket, know-it-all, whiner and complainer.

A shout out to everyone who is in a bad mood! :smt019

Apologetic shout outs to:
LonelyEleni for jacking your thread with my rude, thoughtless behavior.
Flautapantera for including your quote in this rude post. You are not rude and I do not want it implied that you are.
Abysynth for including your quote in this post. I am not making fun of young people. And it was quite presumptious of me to assume I know your age. (But your shout out did include me, right?)

And to anyone rolling their eyes at me, realize that at this moment, I don't really care [-(
Happy New Year

Flauta: Thanks for saying what needed to be said. I had been wanting to say that for a couple days. I thought I actually had, but it seems that lately, my comments have only been seen as a nuisance or that I am just releasing my anger off onto people.

Also, I didn't think that I really had the right to say anything because of my somewhat "meteoric rise" in terms of post count. I know that my post-count is surprisingly high considering that I've only been here for about a month. Though, I had already adopted Flauta's suggestion of trying to post more "genuine" posts, days ago...

After some rest, I am in a better mood. So I have decided to reach Thor's Hammer by this afternoon. (Only 500 posts to go...)

=D> Well said, FP. I sometimes regret having a high post-count but not many posts of substance to back that count up... I'm working on it, though :)

Are you referring to me? Because I know it's early, and I haven't really showered yet, and I was in a foul mood, and I know I'm in the older group of posters on this forum, and I am really more odd than creepy...

Anyhow, wintermute, haven't you been around here for a long time? I wouldn't really put you in the category of post-running. (Not that I am any kind of authority in this area...)

Side Note:
My goal was to make over 500 posts by this afternoon, but I'm definitely not going to be able to do this. I have to feed our iguanas, stop at Staples to pick up some copies, go to work, pick up my daughters from school and paint my toenails. I am so ashamed that I cannot meet this goal that I am abandoning it altogether.

 You remember that girl Cassie? That's who I was referring to ;) But you gave me my first good chuckle of the day. Thanks :)

I joined about two days after you did. Many of my posts are in the General threads. But part of my high post count was because of CiW. I'm glad I was here for that experience, and I've just sorta stuck around since :)

Cool, wintermute. I was getting a bit self-conscious.

Since this began as a thread about shout outs. I will give a shout out to Cassie. Nah...

Remember that video about the Problem of the Infinite Cassies? I'm going to try to find that. I remember it being funny.
