Not to be nitpicky, but Order of OTO would be redundant: Ordo Templi Orientis already means "Order of the Eastern Sky/Temple/Covenant".

Not a deadly blow, though.

liplock000, its nice to see some cute optimism in this thread, what with all the talk of cults.

Along the Denerah lines,
Denderah was the principal city of the sixth province of Upper Egypt in ancient times, and cult centre of the goddess HaTHOR. (my emphasis)
.

I like this direction. However, all are intriguing.

Um, this is kinda disturbing... you don't think this ceremony is some sort of mass cult suicide, do you?

I doubt it, since it's both happened before (just not for a while) and apparently most members of the religion aren't involved in it.

Did someone already bring up the Denderah Zodiac?

I slowed the clip of her saying "Order of ___" a little bit more.

you can distinctly hear all three syllables.

Den-Der-ah.

listen!

As it's been mentioned before, Denerah is connected to OTO.
According to http://oto-usa.org/egc.html,
Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica (E.G.C.), or the Gnostic Catholic Church, is the ecclesiastical arm of Ordo Templi Orientis (O.T.O.). The E.G.C. is a Thelemic religious environment, dedicated to the advancement of Light, Life, Love, and Liberty through alignment with the Law of Thelema
.
In addition, this page describes public and private ceremonies. The private ceremonies are only opened to specified (higher ranking) members. For the public Gnostic Mass
The roles of the two "Children" in Liber XV should be filled whenever possible for public celebrations of the Gnostic Mass. These roles may be filled by any two individuals who have been baptized in E.G.C., including adults. The Children serve the Cakes of Light and goblets of wine to the individual communicants. Where the roles of the Children cannot be filled in a public celebration of the Gnostic Mass, the Deacon should serve the Cakes of Light and the goblets of wine to the individual communicants.
If "children" are needed to serve in public ceremonies, I wonder if there is a role for children (like Bree) in the private (secret) ceremonies.

I know this should be listed in the religion area, but folks seem to be on a roll.

Yeah no problem CriticalThinking but I suppose Hmmmm is right that it would be redundant to say "Order of Order...", nonetheless this is all acting and I doubt the creators are experts with these details in leading the religious plot of the story and when people abbreviate so much they forget they are repeating a word sometimes.
Anyhow, sorry but I just don't hear "denderah" at all except for the fact that I'm positive the word has 3 syllables, I see nothing relevant from the tag and why would she mention an actual tag directly? I don't know, I definitely hear the suffix of the word being an "o" right before the "okay?" it's a word that either ends in -thro -tro or I guess even a -wo

Damn that clue sucks.
