Luv2Skydive wrote:I agree with Lass about the LG15 posters....I watch the vids and post here and there but I just can't get into the whole big thing anymore. This is partly to the posters that are on there now and probably mostly due to the story itself. Pretty much everything about it annoys me, but not enough to leave completely and I like some of the people on here enough to hang around.
What you said.
Luv2Skydive wrote:I got through the first Lost Girls book with half a bottle of wine last night. RAWR. Not much else to say to that.
Let me know when you're done reading it and I'll rant to you about where I thought the whole thing fell short.

Oh, btw . . . do you read any languages other than English? German will be useful when you get to Book III.
Luv2Skydive wrote:I gotta work today. I'm in Procedure Manual Hell.
Poor baby! Don't stay too long.
Luv2Skydive wrote:Lass.....come here more often and join in the bitching, moaning, and posting loverly pictures!!
I shall try. This is certainly the most interesting spot on the forum these days.

Ooh!

I like The Serpent and Cthulu Monster, but for my money The Blob is the most impressive. I bet it was hard to get the Barbie to melt in just the right configuration, while preserving the boobiage.

And speaking of which, I am also voting for a view of spacie's rack.

I just found out that Henry Rollins used to work at the Haagen Dazs in Georgetown. With Ian MacKaye.

THE PEOPLE WHO ARE POSTING ABOUT THE LG15 VIDEOS THESE DAYS ARE IDIOTS.
I don't think they are idiots, I just think it is a different group now, I don't comment much on the videos very much anymore either. At first I it was intriguing, it was fun to speculate on what was happening and to try figure out the clues. I thought it was like a puzzle where all the pieces would eventually fall into place.

But I've come to the conclusion that the pieces won't fall into place, and what they are doing is making it up as they go and that their trick is to continually insert intriguing details for the sole purpose of fueling debate.

It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't put stuff in the vids to then just pretend like they weren't important because they didn't have the balls to go with their original plans. You can't be "groundbreaking" (if that's what they even were) and PC at the same time.

Yea, I am assuming that what you are talking about is the about face on Thelema, that irked me too. But I don't think they really had an original plan.

Rob, you're too kind. Wish I was as charitable as you.

I agree that the pieces of LG15 don't fall into place (although the continuity is not nearly as bad as in some comic book series I could name). What drives me nuts about the newer commenters is the complete lack of logic they apply.

I was about to start listing interminable examples, but I won't bore you or waste my time.

Love the Raymond Pettibon art. Where did you get the superhero one? I'd love to get a closer look at it so I can read the dialogue.

You mean you haven't gotten yours yet? Mine arrived when I was about 13 or so.

But that was what Gemma said about Bree's religion. And she was in cahoots with the Order. So she could very well have been lying.

When Gemma was exposed, I assumed that everything we'd supposedly learned from her was back on the table.

Google images is a great way to find the work of artists on the web, if you put the artists name in the search box and hit search images you get just about everything available.

Unfortunately that is the biggest image there is of that drawing. Maybe if you copy and paste it and zoom in, you could read it. I don't know.

Yeah, your rack is better than mine anyway. So..uh, I really did break the computer. I don't know how, but I did. It won't run windows. I think that's probably bad. No boobs.

In other news, that place I went to last night had a sex toy party. Oh my god! That was uh...different. Literally the last thing I ingested before passing out, after an endless amount of cocktails (I was fu*ked up!!) was the blend of stimulating, warming, flavored, glittery lube, oils and lotions that were all over my hand from all the sh*t they were passing around and making us taste. One lady left the table to go try one of them in the bathroom...that was kind of gross.

So..I'm always a whiney bitch the day after drinking, but I swear to god, I can not remember the last time I was this hung over. I drove home at 7:00 am and haven't been able to go back to sleep. I am a sad, sad girl today. :smt100
