My cousin joined the army, because she's a nurse psychologist thing, and she wanted to help people, and within a month she was sent to Iraq, and was there for two years in baghdad. She's home now, thankfully.

I'm confused as to why that would make you a hypocrite, praying is good. I do it all the time.

Does she talk about what it's like over there?

It's gotten even worse in the last two weeks, if it's possible to conceive of that.

I find it hard to watch the news. It makes me want to cry.

Well, Aithne, to those who don't believe, talking dirty in chat and praying seem a little hypocritical.

Keep on praying, BTW. It works.

She said it wasn't as bad as people think it is. She's a nurse, so she wasn't out on the front line, but she said that besides the extreme heat, there was really nothing to complain about. And she wants to go back, but we're not letting her.

My sis-in-law is there now. We IM each other almost every day (usually using google chat because the Army has not figured out how to disable chat on google without disabling google itself). She should be home in August, but she does not get out of their clutches until April 2009.

I know what you mean. I watch the news everyday (I feel bad if I don't), and I always end up in tears. We live in a cruel world.

No it's ok, I was just confused. I just wasn't able to draw the connection.
