What Time Sunday Oct 1st?

Ok so we are supposed to be WAITing until October 1st. Several threads have come to the conclusion that something will happen at Dawn on October 1st. Does anyone have a star chart or other table that will estimate when sunrise is supposed to happen in the Cassieiswatching area so that we can all be waiting?

I remember seeing a post that someone said that sunrise was at 6:23am PACIFIC for those on the pacific coast. Since we believe CiW is from Callie, then I'd say this will happen shortly after 9:30am EASTERN. That's when I plan to start looking.

I think we should have a Cassie-athon and start watching and posting at midnight Eastern on the Oct. 1st and stay up until something happens!

Oy. I dont know about all of that. :D

I mean, I'll TRY. I just dont know how far I'll be able to get.

It's be funny if CiW was reading this and ended up not doing anything until, like, 5:00 PM just to make us stay up all night..er, early morning.

I went here:
http://aa.usno.navy.mil/data/docs/RS_OneDay.html

And it says:
Begin civil twilight 6:23 a.m.
Sunrise 6:48 a.m.

I don't know which is considered "Dawn" but I myself am planning on being here at 6:23 just to be safe

P.S. These times are PST

Well, I'll attempt it. But seeing as sunrise is gonna be at 6:23am PACIFIC time, that gives me on the East coast a little time to sleep in. I'll probably just stay up later than usual and get up earlier than usual.

edited to add, I think counted in the wrong direction so I deleted my guesstimate for your time.

Oooo... I like that idea. You have to keep in mind, though, that there are places in the world that will experience dawn on "October 1" even before then, such as the Phillippines, which are 12 hours (I think?) ahead of EDT.

I like the Cassie-athon thing...I won't have to wake up until about 8am because it'll start at 9:30am for me! ^_^

Should we setup shifts? How about a group of predetermined threads to focus on? With a limited number of offshoots preset?
Thoughts?

EDIT: Not a limited number of thoughts though
