Maybe they should send Spencer the notebook Bree's Dad left behind?

Maybe. I do not think he will really take to it, unless his curiosity wins out. The fact that his dad had something to do with it might not help at all, he just looks like he wants to pretend it never happened.
Why he would just want to forget about it when there is a very good chance that his father was murdered (plus it is his chance to get back) is most likely because... well, just look at him, does he look like a fighter? At all?
Perhaps he will be interested in what was researched. Maybe if they describe what it is better, he will be attracted to it.
That is, if he is the "very curious science guy" type. He may very well not give a damn about what they were looking into. But since he supposably researches ribozymes (why his employers would care about that I do not know at all), he might be interested.
But like I said, he is definitely not a fighter, which might make him just shy away and not help at all.
They gotta be really careful with this guy. I think one wrong word and he'll just pretend he never had a father and just run.
Of course, this all is only relevant if he is not with the Order.

I dunno. He seems pretty uneager to help. Can't blame him.

I was just thinking maybe seeing the notebook would spark his curiosity a little more.

This seems like a "Well Duh . . . " to me. Which is why it will probably take two months for the creators to get around to it.

I would think that they just need to make him see the link between the order and his dad's death... I am really looking forward to seeing more back story on his relationship with his father, etc.
and I want to see what is inside that notebook for myself!
