Howdy all, I just joined up. Pretty amazing community here. I'm starting to wander through everything, it's a lot.

I do have one question, although I suppose I'll find it somewhere in a faq. I tried to put some text into my sig, but the profile editor gave me an error that my sig was not valid. I only had plain text, is there supposed to be more?

I'm looking forward to getting to know some of you better.

The only thing I can think of is if your signature is too long. There is a 250 character limit, I believe.

As for the sig, I'm not sure but < or > characters might not be allowed. Try a simple small sig first, see if that works.

Actually, all I tried in the sig was "This will take a while!" (without the quotes)

I also forgot to ask, does the profile editor not work well with firefox? The text in the edit boxes was cut off at the bottom, only about the top 1/4 was showing. I had to use IE.

Hmm... I don't have firefox, so I don't know. The other day, though, when I tried to update my sig, it didn't show up for about an hour. Don't know why. *shrugs*
