I think Mr. Atkins was more than generous, under the circumstances. Let's hope that his desire to have Clara get closer to understanding Maddison will help.

Mr. Atkins brings up a really good point, Clara. What are you trying to accomplish? Are you looking to fill in the uncertainties and unanswered questions about factual events? Trying to understand the motives of the killer and the other people involved in the events earlier this year? Perhaps you could present a little more detail on your objectives.

This would also help us help you. The better we know what you want, the better we can help you get it.

She's trying to graduate from college.

Perhaps we should contact her advisor, who does actually seem to care about Maddison and her story.

I'm with you on both points. Clara, you are almost the antithesis of Maddy.
It's time to step up our level of interaction and speak directly with your advisor. You'll never get a passing grade at the rate you're going now.

Gregory Atkins seemed to be looking for a connection/feeling between Clara and his daughter.

Perhaps this community should consider an appropriate way to non-intrusively reach out to Maddison and Adam's families and express our feelings about them. We could at least point them to the tribute videos, etc. that were made, for instance.

If this is a popular idea, I think we should consider a spokesperson to gather contributions/expressions of sympathy, etc. and do any communication with the family... we do not want to burden them with an onslaught of unsolicted attention from multiple people, or intrude upon their privacy or grief. (note, I would rather not be this person, but would make a contribution if someone else steps forward).

Your thoughts on what would be appropriate and who/how it should be handled?

Honestly, I dont think she could have approached that question from any angle and gotten a better result.

It's gotta be extraordinarily difficult to lose a child, and it can;t leave you very emotionally stable.

At least she's trying, right? A for effort?

OOC: This is probably the best acting I've seen in any video, LG or any spinoff.

IC: Mr. Atkins, I can't express in words how much I feel for you and your wife. I am deeply saddened for your loss, and feel extremely sorry that I had a chance to communicate with this "Mr. Zipp" and couldn't think of an effective way to get some concrete answers from him. I'm sorry that I failed Maddy, and you and your wife. Please, if you ever feel like asking us about those last days for Maddy, or anything else you'd like to talk with us, know that we are here for you and more than willing to answer anything or just listen to you.

Again, I apologize for not being able to save your daughter, whatever chance I might have.
