MURPH25 FINALLY FOUND IT, GREAT JOB!!! :D :D :D
murph25 wrote:Mystery solved! I found the original painting that the chalice comes from. It's by Sebastiano Conca, an Italian painter. It was done in 1746. It is called "Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane". As I suspected, it portrays Christ being visited by an angel prior to his arrest and crucifixion, right after the last supper.

I found it here:

http://www.wga.hu/frames-e.html?/html/c ... hsema.html

It is also here:

http://www.reproarte.com/picture/Sebast ... /2626.html

It is a perfect match. The blue coloration must have been a manipulation, because the original version is pale-skinned.

What remains to be seen is whether this means anything to the overall story, or how it fits together with Frank's painting, the cup in the poem, the "garden", etc.
WELL DONE!!!

PLUS: The link to the original YTCassie picture clue isn't active anymore, so we can actually now be very sure to have solved these ones, hurray!!!

Edit: Included link to inverted clue-picture.

HERE GOES THE FIRST THEORY BY JETBLACK:

Now, I wonder why Cassie chose that particular painting of the scene among the hundreds of others.

The painting was done in 1746, exactly 260 years ago.

Does that number or that year hold any significance?

1746 was the year Catharine de Ricci (known for her stigmata and engaging in extreme fasting and other forms of self punishment) was canonized.

It is also the year of birth for Robert R. Livingstone, signer of the Declaration of Independance, United State's first Secretary of Foreign Affairs, known Freemason and the first grand master of the Grand Lodge of New York.

College of New Jersey (later Princeton University) is founded.

Yup, that is the picture.

I wonder what kind of hotel would have a religious picture in the room?

I googled Gethsemane Presbyterian Church Los Angeles. I clicke on this link:

then I searched the list of churches until I found the address that matched The church that KC found. if strangely was under the title "hotline ministry"

Then I googled "hotline ministry" and I keep getting stuff on "evangelism cult"

anyway, this really isnt relevent. sorry for the waste of space. just found it wierd that the name changed, and brought up "cult".

I dont think this is really relevent. but i was bored. and it killed some time.

Maybe blue=sad? The angel would be sad because the "cup" being handed to Jesus was his being sacrificed for our sins. Maybe it's a symbol of someone innocent being sacrificed.

A hotline ministry might just mean they have someone answering the phones for counseling, etc. Like a suicide prevention number or something like that, but I'm not sure.

I'm not sure the Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane picture was the one from Franks room. All the pictures on this page were probably intended as general clues to help solve the poem. (Okay, the last one was in fact the real Franks blog page - just to confirm we had found the right one.)

I think, given the latest Revelations 2 video, it's far more likely the Clown painting is the one missing from his room. Much more the kind of artwork you'd expect in a motel :?:
