Better then LOST...

I guess I'm getting tired of everyone complain about the lack of climax in this ceremony. However take a look at the "best" show on TV, LOST. I watch that show like a bad habit, and it shares characteristics with a lot of TV's biggest hits (think; 24, Prison Break, Heros, etc...) Every week your left with more questions, and more hype for the following week. It seems like the only reason you keep watching is because you KNOW the climax will be next week. Yet week after week you're left disappointed, but soon that fills with hope for the next episode. LG is following this format, and having huge success.

I watched one episode of Lost (the one where they have to push the button at a certain time, repeatedly).
... I never watched Lost again.
I see what you're saying, though, and you're right. But I think Lost does it better than LG... Bree's video was too straight forward, the only real question was the bandage she had on her arm. She wasn't even very mysterious. I can think of ways they could have written that video to make you very curious about what had happened, but they didn't. She didn't even seem like she had had an amazing experience or anything. To me, she seemed kinda bored.
I think LG has to be careful or people will lose interest. Even Lost throws people a bone sometime, amongst the red herrings.

Winner winner chicken dinner!
Right now Bree's video was anticlimatic...Daniels was the 'bone'.
The real upside is that LOST will probally take 4 more years, this might be only another 2months

To say that LG15 is better than LOST is blasphemy! BLASPHEMER!
...and they're not all red herrings. They brought the polar bear back *grin.*

actually i've been pretty damn impressed with the last few vids also. i def. keep up with these forums (to an unhealthy extent
), i hear tons of good ideas about what might be going on and what might happen, and then yet, either because they started out with a very creative storyline or because they're using our posts to keep one step ahead of us, the next vid is NEVER exactly what we really expected on the whole.
we expected a big deal ceremony on the 12th
we expected Daniel to do... not that and find... not that
and of all of the speculation on Bree's "Be careful, Daniel..." video, i think the idea of Daniel's disappearing so immediately was pretty much the least discussed.
they're smart, very smart.
let's see how far it can take them...
