Take a look at the latest video's quote: "Why is longitude important? Because if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you're going, and you might run into things that aren't supposed to be there". Significance? Yes. I think she's saying that we have no clue of what we are talking about, and all of our "science" will be proven wrong. I think this has story significance, too, but I can't really seem to find where it would really fit.
Also significant, one of the many areas that Daniel pointed to i managed to freeze-frame and pick out on Google Earth that it is the UK, more specifically London. It may have been anywhere in the UK, but I think London may have more significance. Ima look into London's history.

if your theory is correct, I would assume she is referring to everyone's prejudice of this series having a dark ending. This is partially why I think the 'ceremony' was a test of Bree's free will, to see how far she'd go before she took her own path. Another reason would be Gemma moving on and out of the community eveuntually. I would put down all my reasoning for this but I feel it would be in vain, being that anything I post is usually disregarded after several people post youtube videos of farting contests and/or people making references to masons.

Cheers

I just realized something... in Proving Longitude Wrong It says that there were two survivors of the wreck at the shore rocks (danielbeast)... possibly Cassie and Bree? Then a lady killed one of them for a ring... Gender switch? a lot of clues on this website point to Daniel Killing Cassie. On to something? Maybe. maybe the ring symbolizes something else in the story... in the Cassie clues does she mention anything taken from her? This is indeed interesting.

Also @ Jacks: Very interesting concept... maybe the Creators are fooling everyone into thinking that this story is very dark and will end in death or something, when it is actually not. Though I don't think so, it it still an interesting concept.

London is of course where Gemma is (or says she is). Of course, Daniel may also be pointing to where Sir Cloudisley Shovell sent his fleet aground, which was on the Scilly Islands at the entrance to the English Channel, I believe.

Oh yes, I had forgotten. Maybe they were just pointing to where the story references, or where their friend lives. I too have a friend named Gemma in the UK, and I would probably do the same. Hmm... Maybe London Coords or Scilly Isle Coords are significant in some way? or maybe I'm just going to far with this.

I wonder if Bree's account of the story in the book jives with what is actually in the book. If she's accurate, I don't think there's much we can get out of details of the story. If she diverges, however, that could be significant.

I am not saying it will necesarily be a happy ending. I just don't think it will end in death or maiming of any sort. I think the whole point of this was to try to be realistic given the story, and so a sad ending could be in order. afterall, life is rarely fair!

True, unless the Creators made this portion of the story to "synchronize" with the book. But I doubt it :) All we can do is to find someone who has read the book, or read it ourselves and see if she truly followed the storyline. Or we can google it.

Indeed, but however true and plausible your statement may be, there are always people that look for darkness, and usually find it. Or convince the Creators to put it in there to make them happy.

well whichever the case, one of "the Creators" had the character of Bree for awhile, so I am not completely convinced that they do not already have atleast a rough idea of how everything will end.

and now something that dawned on me

the "dont know where your going....."...well that could just be alluding to the whole ceremony thing. she didnt know what was going on, she was essentially LOST. ughhhh its too easy to make connections....AHHHH

I know, It's not even funny anymore how many clues and possibilities are going around now. I don't know where to start. And I'm off for tonight, night all.

Zero degrees longitude (the prime meridian) is in London.

The formation of the satellites of Jupiter provide a clock whose face can be seen from every vantage point.

Longitude at sea was determined by the observations of the eclipses of Jupiter's satellites.

I'm new to posting here, but I've been lurking for a while. I've seen the "Daniel killed Cassie" theory stated various times on the boards, but from watching the videos, I really can't think of anything that would lead me to believe that he killed her. (I didn't follow Cassie is Watching, so the theory might relate to that).

From the LG15 videos, what clues lead you to believe this about Daniel?
