Canon and non-Canon characters

I had a sudden brainstorm today. Wouldn't it be entirely possible for the creators to claim that the more violent videos are from non-canon characters? This would make them able to keep the adult audience with those, while keeping Lonely's videos relatively benign for the younger viewers. If this is the case, it's a brilliant strategy.
As I said before, brilliant strategy.

There haven't been any violent LG15 videos!

I was talking about the cassieiswatching and frankiswaking and OpAphid vids. You know this, right?

But those characters aren't canon, so the Creators already have nothing to worry about.

I think the point was the tired argument that it would be simple for the Creators to claim they're not canon, even though they are. I don't personally subscribe to this argument (though I joked about it a *lot* during the height of CiW), but I think that's what the original poster was getting at.

Well, now that it's possible that OpAphid is canon, what about Cassie? This subject needs to be looked at again.

Why look at it again? It's been looked at....until we find out something different than what we already "know", what's the point?

Wait, I haven't followed OpAphid. Why is it "possible that OpAphid is canon"? What have I missed (again)?

It's no more possible that CIW being cannon.... anything is possible, technically...but if the people who make what is cannon say it's not cannon, and no one has proven it to be cannon..then...well...what...? Cannon cannon cannon (I just had to say cannon again)
Cannon.

I guess I see this in a different way. he was not editing you to say you were wrong, but to say... we were told they were not canon, now it comes out that Op is. So that is why he took the others out, cause they are not canon. Does that make any sence?
