I haven't been able to get into the java chat for opaphid. I was able to for a while, now it always fails. Is anyone else have this problem?

it works for me at a computer at a friends house. try now.

Okay so I read that the opaphid channel is gone, so I tried operationaphid. Still doesn't work. It says "couldn't look up hostname" or something like that. And I was able to get into it fine last week from the same computer. Hopefully someone can help with this.

kristy, the operationaphid chat is definitely working. Make sure you're spelling everything correctly (I'm sure you've already checked this), and try a couple of times in a row. Sometimes when I try to get in it tells me the channel isn't registered the first few times, but then it gives in and lets me enter.

thats exactly what happened to me when my comp almost crashed X_X

Hmm well I tried re-downloading java and everything, still doesn't work so I guess I just will have to give up on that idea. It makes no sense that it worked before and not now...but apparently it's a problem on my end and not the chat itself so I guess I'll just stick to reading the forums now.

That sounds odd, I'd keep trying every now and again though.

You never know with dumb luck right?
