Most importantly, Gemma thinks P. Monkey is a wanker!
And a fragile geezer!
Edit: It might have been nice if she expanded on the don't trust the authorities thing. She seemed awfully chipper and playful for delivering an important message like "don't trust the people we've been told all our lives are supposed to protect us".

Does anyone mind explaining/typing out what she says/just giving a general explaination?
I'm in school and there's no way to acess the vids. I mean, you can get to the page, but the videos just don't pop up...
Why the heck do the always post them around this time? I'm always in schoooool!

Wait......Gemma's FAVORITE Olympic competition? That sounded so lame....it was only in the Olympics once and it was WAY before Gemma was around. I don't think she likes P. Monkey. If we look at animals and Egypt the Baboon was considered evil.....not that P.'s a baboon but it's the closest I could get.

Yes, the wanker comment was surprising. On the other hand, being a wanker for a hand puppet is sort of... ok
, I'm on the wrong thread *slowly stepping back*

She says Bree is smart in not trusting the authorities. Then she rambles about her favorite Olympic event from 1904 where people plunged into the water and floated with just a single breath. She didn't say too much, except she doesn't like P. Monkey!

"The Plunge for Distance".......participants dive in, stay rigid, and see who can go the farthest. I couldn't find anything on it myself.

Hahahahah! That's SOOOOO much fun to do.
But, to think that they put something as pointless as that in the olympics, but won't put in Synchronized Skating!
<3Noelle.
Whats with the P. Monkey is a wanker thing?

The actual Olympic website had this:
"to a "plunge for distance" in 1908. That event involved a standing dive, with contestants then remaining motionless for 60 seconds, or until their heads broke the surface - whichever came first."
