FINAL DETAILS:

Ok we have acquired the new server. The entire LG15 website will be shut down sunday at 2 AM CST/3 AM EST/6:30 PM Buggar Time. There is a possibility for a 24 hour downtime all day sunday. Normal operations will continue monday morning.

UPDATE:

The new server will be ready sometime in the next 72 hours. Once we acquire the server, we will announce a scheduled downtime for the server move. Meanwhile, we have acquired a temporary upgrade on our current hardware that might help the situation for now. During the next 72 hours, downtime is possible if resource usage skyrockets again. Please bare with us and continue to visit our site.

Everyone has probably noticed that the website, forums, and lgpedia have been running rather slowly lately. Earlier we had a period of complete downtime as well.

I am aware of this issue. It is caused because of the huge amount of resources we are using. We have simply outgrown our current server.

We have already located a new server and are working to acquire it. There will be a planned downtime starting late tonight. The good news is that once we execute the server move, everything will become much faster than it ever was before.

I will post more details as soon as I receive them.
