Judging by the suspicious inactivity of these two previously active users, one can only assume 'mute has fled to Brazil in order to avoid unfortunate legal action, where he and Vert are frollicking naked on the country's many nude beaches.
Any other theories?

I don't think many are heart broken that JJ is gone.
I'd say 'mute was made a mod for the same reasons as BK, nice, helpful, on all the time...
