Log Off Problem

I can't log out of the main page. When I choose logoff, it merely refreshes the main page. From my profile, I tried to "sign off," but it returned me, logged-in, to the main page.
This is disconcerting--I'm on a public terminal.

This problem is continuing sporadically from multiple computers on different networks.
In order to log off I most often need to:
1. press the logout button several times (which just refreshes the page without logging me off),
2. then close the browser window,
3. then reopen LG15 in a new browser window (still logged in), and
4. finally press the logout button one last time.
