What is tiresome is that the plot is always always going nowhere. SSDD. I am tired of having no real turning points.. Will this turn into a internet General Hospital or one of those that never solve current issues in the storyline?

We've already heard this a million times. The creators aren't going to stop anything to accommodate your college schedule. Ranting is not going to help your situation either.

Well, heres how I look at it. Things are happening. Just not that fast. If you look at the collective series of events, including characterization, alot is happening. Its just the narrative. This show is unlike any other before it. It comes in very small portions frequently. In a standard 30-45 min show, alot takes place because of the length. But this is different. Its presented in a series of video blogs which, sticking with the typical forumula for video blogs, tend to be on the short side. So if you look at it collectively, there are indeed plot devlopements, they are just coming at a slow pace. While they were in the Hotel, they established several key things.
1.The Cults interest in them goes far beyond the ceremony, which has probably already passed. And if it has not, still, if they knew where they were, they could have just taken her if the law enforcement was in their pocket. So something up there.
2.They have a watcher on their tail, confirming my first point
3.They either have something they want, or the cult wants them to run. It would not be worth it to trash the hotel room unless they had something they wanted. That alerts them you know where they are. Either that or they wanted them to move.
4.Daniel is frustrated with the situation.
So stuff is indeed happening, just subtle stuff.

i do not think the Order wants them to keep running. i think the opposite, they do not want bree running anymore. if they wanted them to keep running, their money would have not been stolen. the watchers arent poor. they took the money to stop them from running anymore. and to scare the heck out of them. oh and to put a bug in Owen

Then why not wait there and take her? Does not make a lick of sense logically, if they have the police in their pockets. I mentioned it in another thread, but one possibility, which I'll probably be extremely wrong on, is that they took the money in order to make them desperate. Some people think that they are going to go to Jonas. Thats taking several leaps, but perhaps they want them too. By taking the money, they get desperate and have to trust someone they might not have otherwise.

i unfortunately agree with the jonas thing. i cant stand him, but i think they may be headed there as well. but some of us think jonas is a plant put there by the order, as you said. so that would mean they took the money so they could subtlely influence their travels. by placing jonas in the story, with all his supposed money, would seem a welcome place to take things.
however, i think hes a wolf in dorks clothing. i dont trust him.
so we could both be right on this one.

The money thing is the weirdest thing about this though. Thats what makes this whole thing possible. But toomrow night we should find out quite a bit. I bet we'll see Jonas come in and be the hero...but I think there is something up with him as well. Seems WAY too convenient, with some of the things he has said
"My parents died at sea so I'm all alone and have lots of money to throw around and live in a big house, perfect to hide in!" paraphrasing, but thats what it boils down too. And this devlopement steers to that direction. The thing with the money makes me distrust him even more. Anyway, this whole thing is picking up though. I dont think we are too far apart on this thing though 8)

Priceless!

Agreed!

Beyond the twists that have been mentioned what other evil possibilities are there for Jonas?

Perhaps he could be against Bree for abanding the religion but not be a puppet of the order...

Perhaps Jonas and Bree could be in cahoots in order to convert Daniel...

Hah, well, if something like that happens I called it :p
But as for Bree trying to convert Daniel...seems unlikely. We dont know how strong her faith is after all of this, although it has been eluded too that it is still there, when Daniel ask her to tell him about her community. As for him trying to get her back in...possible..but that would mean that she has too be willing to do whatever they want with her, because they have had ample opportunity to force her.

The OpAphid and Tachyon videos total 8 minutes (if you don't want the Tachyon text based videos).

The summaries take 10-20 minutes to read (tops and that is if you read the long versions).

A 30-minute investment for a show you are so hardcore about should be NOTHING.

And that 30 minutes is to get the whole OpAphid and Tachyon story, most of which is in the same universe as LG15, but not directly related to the LG15 plot. So really, if you just watch that break-in video, you know all you need to know so far.

OpAphid and Tachyon have actually had a lot of stuff happen in their own story, which stands on its own. People who watch OpAphid/Tachyon are into it, and the LG15 content is a bonus--you could watch one or the other and still enjoy them seperately.

Are there a few LG15 tidbits to be found in the other OpAphid/Tachyon stuff? Yes. But they are not essential to the LG15 story (and the major points are repeated in LG15).

So please, spare us your complaining about the great time sacrifice that is being asked of you! The Creators stated very clearly that one was not required to watch/enjoy the other.

Why would they only be one Order, with a single secular arm, the Watchers?

What they do don't make sense, so they must have they own internal issues, hidden by the fact that they aren't enough OpAphid-like videos to explain the conflict. This would explain the incoherent following, tracking, money stealing, etc.

Calling their organization into question is a bit out of left field at this time. We have to assume at this time they are competent, since they have given us no reason to believe otherwise at this current time. As for the single arm, they obviously have more than that if they are able to get control of the authorities, which they supposedly have.
