Questions on Daniel...a little on Gemma

Okay, so Daniel going grey. Is that an intentional plot device for Daniel's character or what? Should we be reading more into it? Frankly, it's been bothering me.

Oh, and did anyone else notice that Daniel worked at a petrol station? Didn't Gemma have an interest in a guy named Sam whose parents owned a petrol station? So, why is petrol coming up and why does it seem to represent people who 'don't subscribe' to the Order's beliefs? Does the Order have something against gas stations? Does a petrol station mean something more? I always thought it a little off that Gemma would continue to communicate with Sam, but at a 'differant' petrol station. Why not a park?

Was Dan's beard grey or blonde? I thought it was blonde--may be a color issue with my monitor.

In "It's Not Your Decision," Gemma didn't say that she met Sam at a different petrol station. She said that her mother found out about her crush on him, so her parents used a different station from then on.

i'm pretty sure his facial hair is blonde, he's only 20.. his hair wouldn't really be going grey.. just probably looks different because he's out in the sun in his last video.

and yeah that is a little strange that gemma liked a dood that worked at a gas station, and that daniel did as well.

what's the deal with ex-order girlies and <3'ing gas-station working doods?

And for the record, this is what Gemma said about the guy she liked:

You know, when I was thirteen or so, I liked this boy, and, um...he was from the town just adjacent to our commune. His name was Sam, and his parents owned a petrol station. One day my mum read my diary and saw his name in it. She knew he and his parents didn't subscribe to our way of thinking, I was told I was never to see him again. I argued with my parents, but it didn't matter. We used a different petrol station from then on. Look, I understand it's hard to know who to trust. I know that. It's your decision, I just hope you'll listen to some of the things I'm saying.

Ah. Thanks, ladies. I see I misunderstood what Gemma was saying. As for Daniel's hair, it looks grey on my screen. But, then again he also appears to be wearing lipstick in one of the other vids. So, I'm gonna take your word for it. I just never noticed any brown haired guys whose facial hair didn't match their scalp... you know, unless they're going grey or out right dyed it. Hope he gets a trim and runs a little gel through the fur soon. He's been lookin shaggy.

Yeah it isn't common but some guys do have different facial hair color then their scalp hair color. Mine is red/blonde and I have brown hair, I was blonde when I was younger and my hair has gotten darker over time.
