Personally I use Flash 8

Just a point sugar, watch your file size... sooner or later admin are going to realize that all these avatars are slowing the site down, so a little preemptive self restraint will leave us with more creative freedom.

Nice Av's tho, just try to keep them under 100k

how can i tell how big they are? maybe i'm a little stupid, but it always shows up to me as KB instead of k? or maybe that's bad...

BTW officially ...

... So all my avatars are breaking the rules, which is funny cos I made one for twjaniak and he's using it.

ahahaha, it took me so long to figure out why people were calling me sugar. i guess i'm slow. i was like "are they talking down to me?"

oh and pushedbutton, i went and read that too after our discussion. it looks like pretty much everyone's avatars are breaking the rules :O uh oh.

Well I was a member of a chat forum in the uk that had to stop putting gifs in signature cos they slowed the servers down - I guess when you're making a 50 frame gif sized 500 x 200 px it's bound to, especially when they are over 1Mb.
