Is Bree Lying?

Honestly, I think Bree's Dad is dead...But there are some here that think Bree and Daniel are lying--just to fool the order.

What do you think?

I think that is a distinct possibility.

I can see that happening here. I still have some doubt about JOnas though.

I don't know I really think Jonas has proved himself now...He pretty much risked his life to help them (since there was a gun involved)...

She could be lying but I'm not really sure what she would be lying about...

as posted in plot discussion...here are my thoughts:
i honestly think we need to beleive he is dead.
He betrayed the order. In everyway. He helped bree run away by leaving a note and money. He (assumming here) didn't tell them where she was/going. He got in contact with her through code, secretly, behind their backs, and went and met her.
For all we know, they could have been looking for him as well. He might have escaped.
Either way, its obvious that since Bree brought up the concerns she had about the ceremony, her parents were supportive. And bree's dad realized , that as a doctor and her parent, it was his responsibilty to know what medication he was giving her. Probably when he confronted the deacons about it in that "Secrative meeting" they had, it probably came to the deacons attention that they were about to betray them. Hence why they were taken. But hopefully Bree's father (and mother maybe) got away, but now the order caught him
He betrayed them in every way...and by the looks of the hints and clues that bree gave us about him...he might have been betraying them for a lot longer then we think.
The clues she gave us concerning "spy" movies and Nancy Drew books, seems to hint to a connection to Tachyon...but of course nothing is confirmed yet.

So are we to believe that he is dead. 100% yes.
He choose a side, and as OpAphid said

Quote:
...those who declair themselves enemies, shall be considered fair game, we do not act, unless first pervoked, but heed this warning, do not beleive that, possibly, you can escape the rewards of your actions, And As Such, You shall face our wrath

What if they just think he is dead because they saw him go down? What if he's just injured? Bad guys do that all the time. They injure the person - not entirely to death- and use that to torture them or to get information out of them.

Not sure how saying he is dead would fool the order? I mean the order was there when bree and company drove off so they would know the status of her dad...

... oh wait, do you mean to fool the order about what Bree thinks happened? I dunno, long day and no sleep  What did you mean?

I also believe that Jonas has proved himself, and I was pretty suspicious of Jonas (especially during that time when Bree was at his house but not posting). At this point I think he's a good guy, trustworthy.

And I think it's a distinct possibility that Bree's dad isn't dead, I think the figure at the end of "The Unthinkable Happened" was him and that Bree and company are lying to help her dad slip back into hiding.

haha finally somebody said it. Why are people changing their font size lately? If they really wanted to be different from the crowd, I suggest they get into the videos more and provide a unique point of view or at least say something worth reading.

No offense to anyone.=P

I believe Bree is trying to cover up for her father killing Lucy and a Deacon. However, most of my theories are usually wrong.

Listen guys,
it makes absolute no sense why they WOULDN'T kill him.
i haven't heard a honestly good theory that would back this up. The order NEEDS Bree alive! They've already said this in Tachyon's video Gemma [part III]. And Bree's fatehr betrayed the order. He helped her get away from the order. The Order IS this forceful, and we HAVE seen them be this forceful before.
OpAphid (The Order) instruced Gemma to kill Brother (Tachyon's partner) why he was investigating her.
On top of that, the fact that they used Gemma against her to attempt to lure her back, is forceful, as well as planting camera's in both her and daniels homes.
They also chased them out of the motel.

I think from the seriousness in the video, they are clearly trying to say that Bree's dad is dead. Another reason they might have killed him off, is because they didn't want to have to pay another actor. =P
