I have a hunch that Jonas knew Bree's "father", when he made the comments in the video "Unthinkable happened" when he said to Daniel "Lets go get her, who's that?"

.. makes me think that perhaps Jonas knows him, or at least recognizes him slighly. Bree's "father" could be an a co-worker that Jonas's mom or dad brought home once years ago, or like a friend of an uncle, or just someone he might slighly recognize from a picture Jonas has seen in his house and has no idea who it is. Also the way that he said "Who's that?" made me think that he was expecting someone else.

I think jonas was confused, he obviously thought brees dad was someone different. which makes sense now that we know he wasnt her real dad.

yeah....he must be connected to him in some way. He seemed surprised to know that it was brees father in the unthinkable happened video.

maybe bree's dad is jonas's dad! and he was surprised that it looked so much like him so he kept asking that question.

i know, probably not really what happened, but wouldnt that be just crazy?!

I've been giving this some thought as well. I did find it odd on Jonas's persistent of whether the man with Bree was her dad and I've come up with 2 reasons to that.

1.) He could be in on the whole thing and did recognize that the man was not Bree's father - - I still think Jonas has something up his sleeve, mostly because of Gemma (you don't know who's on who's side, except perhaps Daniel). Whether he's good or bad, he knew that the man posing as Bree's dad was not the genuine article.

2.)We've never seen what Bree's dad looks because it's obvious he isn't her father - - Maybe he and Bree's mom (or fake mom) look very different from her, or are too young to be her parents. Daniel may have not cared to notice, because for a long time, his focus was on Bree and not so much on her parents (apart from their creepy insistance that he tape their plays). With Jonas, we get an unbias (maybe) 3rd party that would notice right off the bat that they were not her parents. Seeing her parents would make us, the viewers, way more suspicious and give stuff away too quickly.

That's what I rationalized so far, there could be oodles of other explinations. As we have seen in other videos, the little things have significance, and I think this definately meant something.

i dunno....i think he just recognized her father and was surprised that daniel said YES that is her father...and he maybe knew something else.

IMO I think Jonas either recognized Bree's "Dad" from somewhere else and didn't realize that the man was in fact her dad. OR he somehow knew what her REAL parents looked like and was expecting to see her real father, instead of her adoptive/abductive/whatever parents. That didn't make much sense.

Or it could be that we are overthinking this and Jonas was just worried that Bree might be with someone other than her dad.

Maybe Bree's parents used to be Jonas' parents friends and go sailing to gether...maybe they are involved somehow with jonas' parents death

I can't figure out how this would fit tho...I think it's rather improbable this is the case.

I think Jonas is on Bree's side. I think he has connections we don't know about. In the OpAphid section there is a whole thread dedicated to the connections between Jonas and Tachyon. Tachyon is anti-Order, and so is Bree, soo yeah.

So maybe he knew something from Tachyon? Dunno.

I guess it is possible that he might have known who her dad was through his own Dad. Like maybe they both worked at the same Research place working on Ribosymes. Just speculation and so much info that we do not know to be sure.

I defently agree that Jonas recognized Mr. Bree. He was really shocked when he saw him and Daniel said 'that IS her dad'.
I mean, they know Bree went to see her dad, so why would Jonas be like 'that's her dad? are you sure?'

1) I think Jonas was jumpy-like because he doesn't get out much.

2) If Jonas knew Bree's dad---its possible that Jonas really should not have been trusted...especially since he would know more than he is letting off.

Either he doesn't get out much or he is still hopped up on some egg nog from christmas lol. As far as him "knowing her dad would make him untrustworthy" that is a very good point but everything about Jonas is kind of odd. A rich guy in the middle of nowhere with no parents is nice enough to offer a complete stranger a place to stay from the Evil Order... Is this simply good will on his part like he claims is his personal weakness? or does he indeed know a lot more than he has let on and is very untrustworthy? Questions like these have been around ever sense he was introduced as a canon character, and i hope before long that we have a better understanding of which is the truth.
