What was your FIRST post?
I just thought it would be neat to read the first thing you contributed as a "newbie"!
Here's my first post, back in the CiW day:
"I went to the google map from "Cassie" and clicked on Curve File 9/1/02 link and found this on the report:
The Curve Fire investigation team has concluded candles associated with a ritual involving the use of fire and animal sacrifices started the fire. Anyone having any information relating to this incident is asked to call Forest Service Law Enforcement and Investigations at (626) 574-5351."

hee he...mine is dorky and suprisingly long. I like how math was apparently my motivation for posting:
"Well, I've been "lurking" for quite a while now and finally registered because this tag has been bothering me. I've noticed something besides the "Cthulhu" connection you guys are talking about. Somewhere along the way here I came across pictures and information about the "Abbey of Thelema". It's located in Cefalu, Sicily. That stuck out in my mind, though I'm not sure how significant that would really be.
Also, Cephalopods are quite interesting. Besides the sort of oxymoron head-foot thing, there's a lot of talk about spirals and mentions of the chambered nautilus..a lot of math correlations. All that stuff strongly ties into chaos theory (stuff like the Fibonacci sequence, fractals etc.) It seems to me that Thelema embraces Chaos and the like, which makes perfect logical sense to me, but is not neccessarily something that many religions celebrate. Often times, chaos is assosciated with "the unknown" or "the wild"..you might go so far as to say even "darkness". I'm not a scholar on the subject but western religion is generally suspicious of such things..or at least uneasy. A lot of rules and regulations seem to act as a way to tame / control chaos (darkness, wilderness, unknown etc.) Such rules, standards, and even moral "codes" could be seen as counter intuitive and un-natural by those who embrace the concept of chaos.
My personal beliefs are irrelevant to this topic, but it does illustrate a huge difference between "western" religion (which influences the gneral western public's opinion in a huge way) and Thelema specifically. I just thought that was interesting."

Damn, I jumped right into a thread on religion...what was I thinking?
I would have to say that religion is a very sore subject for me. I was raised Roman Catholic pretty much against my will. I disagreed with so many of the beliefs and practices that going to church always put a bad taste in my mouth. In the process of rebelling against the church/my family/society as a whole, I engaged in some pretty stupid behavior and ended up pregnant and single at 21. I was living in Florida, going to school at the time and my mom came down to go to some Dr's appointments with me. She made me go to church with her and my grandparents and the whole sermon was about how kids of my generation are engaging in premarital sex and having babies out of wedlock that will not be loved or recognized by Jesus Christ or God. I walked out of church in tears and have not really attended mass since. I baptised both of my children to basically shut my crazy Italian grandmother up, but I will never attend mass again. I'm actually jealous of people who have such a deep belief in something and feel the need to go to church every sunday to be closer to their god. I think that there is something out there, I'm just not sure what it can be, or if there even is only one or many different gods and/or goddesses. And finding anyone who is not a christian/catholic in New Hampshire is not exactly an easy thing. So I read up on things and try to discover for myself. Any suggestions?

My first post,
I had been following LG15 on Youtube since early on, then when Bree posted her Difficult Decision video I was worried that she was serious about not posting any more v-blogs so I came to the forum here to see what other fans thought.

I just noticed now, in looking it up, that is was right after a post by Spaciegirlrobtomorrow wrote:Well after reading most of the posts on this video, I am glad that the consensus seems to be that this is not the last video.
At first I was leaning to believe the Difficult Decision was meant to be read in two ways, one within the context of the story, and the other in the context of the Creators decision of whether to continue with the series or not.
I was wondering if maybe they have decided to pull the plug because the revenue that they were hopeing for wasn't materializing. They don't seem to getting alot of traffic on this website. And since the video My First Kiss, which was posted at the height of the controversy, thier view count on Youtube seems to be falling, and most of the comments are from haters.
If this isn't the last video, it seems the Creators have a delemma, if Bree posts a new video too soon. changing her mind, it will seem silly, if they wait too long then people will assume it is the last, unsubscribe, and loose intrerest.
I think if Daniel doesn't post a reply within a few days, which would be the logical next step in the story, I think we can assume it is over.

OH MY GAWD, you're one of them! Yes, there are people with bubble fetishes. I didn't know this until I started getting messages that wanted details of what gum I use, how do I "prepare", does my mouth get sore, and they like watching my chest breath in and out. It made me say WTF? It's just a bubble! I don't get it.
