There's a new Voicemail Message from Brother at 1-310-933-5901! Check it out.

So... something happened to Tachyon? She was trapped by the Order? 5 was a sham, just a way to get to her? And now Brother is thinking they were just playing into the Order's hands the whole time, and now he doesn't get any sweet Gemma time because he mirked her?

Nodus, I agree that somethings gone wrong, but the voicemails are generally used to communicate with Tach, rather than about her?

But I could definitely see that. And they (being Brother and Tach) know we call and hear them, so maybe.

It sounds to me like somethings happened that makes him think Tach screwed him over? Seems unlikely though.

Maybe, going with Nod's theory, she's being held for ransom?

Well, Tachyon depended on us to retrieve and decode the drops she left for Brother. Maybe Brother is doing it to us? Should we possibly expect a drop or something? No... nevermind. Too far fetched.

Well, since Tachyon is out of contact right now, maybe this was actually intended for us.

Oh, I know. I meant that, in the same way that Tachy depended on us to figure junk out and realize what was going on, I think that Brother is alerting us to the fact that some bad junk has gone down.

Op doesn't know Tachy's identity.

Rather, that's what Op says. Whether or not its the truth is up for debate.

I think this may be asign that Brother screwed up, not tachy. His offing of Gemma may have revealed that Sebastian was still alive, and Oppy found him.

The ransome may be an indication that he needs to be saved again, not the other way around. Sebastian sold his soul to off Gemma, now he has been revealed?

Just a thought.

EDITED to add this: Remember, Brother was under a self imposed house arrest; growing some facial hair; and changing appearance to fool Oppy. After Gemma was offed, and Oppy went underground, brother got a little too cavalier. He took over Gemma's account and basically was revealing that he was Sebastian.

Tachy took off, leaving Sebastian on his own with his poor sense of logic. Sebastian has been tagged. I think we took Oppy's pawn, and scrificed our Rook.

Maybe Brother has become frustrated by Tachyon's long absense. She's been completely out of touch for longer than he anticipated and that's left him nothing but time to stew and question both his actions (killing Gemma) and his motives for the mission.

What I'm getting from this (and I haven't heard the VM, just read the lyrics) is that he is pissed at Tach. My thinking is in bold.

If you recall, she has mentioned that her and Brother have been intimite on occasion. So maybe, he is just a big, lovesick puppy she orders around and he's gotten sick of the game.

She decided that Gemma was seriously getting in the way, so she had Brother take care of her. He paid the ransom by sacrificing what was a romantic entanglement from his past. She twisted his arm by making him do this, and now he's fed up. She no longer has power over him.

On the little mission she set up for him (eliminating Gemma) he was seen by someone from the Order (just a quick look) and now he's in deep hiding again.

She felt sorry for B and D and wanted to help them and now he's left behind to deal with the Orders wrath. And reiterating that any personal/romantic/sexual hold she had on him no longer exhists.

I could just be overanalyzing due to the immense amounts of caffeine in my system right now, but thats just the impression I get from the song.
