i bet they charge for interviews and such.

plus, they moved their movies to a new site (as well as youtube) that advertises at the end of the video (look at the homepage here). they get a % of the profits from the companies advertising, i think.

I really hope they are getting paid now- they deserve it! But on the other hand, if they start charging I'll be saying goodbye.

It doesn't work like that.

Positive they're getting paid.

When a series attracts publicity, investment comes much more easily. As you know, one of the screenwriters is a lawyer. All three have a living, and this is just a part time gig for the actors.

Youseff mentioned something about not getting paid at first which impies that they are now.

I've wondered about this, too. The nature of YT meant the videos would get a slow start, with no certainty they'd draw an audience. And until the Revver vids were posted, there was no evident way they could make money off the installments. It's possible the actors did it for the exposure, but as Jess Rose suggested in one of her interviews, she was dubious about the medium. (And who can blame her? "Hey, pretty young woman, we want you to star in a series of Internet videos" is a line that would sound alarms for even the most naive ingenue...)
