So, in light of the recent video from Daniel......

are we any closer to figuring out what 'no good' meant in his text message?

Apologies if this is covered elsewhere - I know that the text generated a lot of chat, but wondered if anyone makes any more sense of it since the last vid??

I don't think we have a definite answer on what "no good" actually meant. There are a lot of speculation to what it could mean...such as:

Message From Daniel
1) The situation he was in was 'no good'
2) Using the cell phone is 'no good'

Message From The Cowboy
1) Using the cell phone to contact Daniel is 'no good'
2) To follow Daniel is 'no good'

I get you...just wondered if anyone thought that the new video made any of these possibilities more likely?

Guess we'll just have to wait and see if anyone else came up with something. ^_^

I think the txt msg could have meant "don't listen to the upcoming video of me"

Okay. But then wouldn't it have said "don't listen" instead of "no good"? Or "Not Me" or something like that?

No good is so freaking ambiguous. Grr.

A few days ago there was an interesting thread about this (don't remember where  ) and someone had listed a few theories about what the text could mean. Something about predictive text and that the words could actually mean something else.

Sometimes the predictive text messes up. For example you could type "home" and it comes up as "good". (Some more expensive phones have better quality predictive text now and give you more options of words to choose.)

The theory was that the predictive text messed up and the message never said 'no good' at all.

yea and then we realized that none of their ideas would work...

I just assumed it meant the situation he was/is in is no good.

trust me i have enough gadgets around my house to know that all the suggestions that have been made wouldn't work with "no good"
