I agree about the brainwashing room. It reminded me of A Clockwork Orange when they bombard Alec with Beethoven's Glorious Ninth. OOHHH - I also got very interested when Jack asked Tom why they just didn't take Ben to the mainland if they can do that and Tom started to say something about the sky going purple (which happened I believe when the time in the Swan ran down) and then Kate called in on the damn radio and that was it! I was like "Shut up Kate! Call back later!"
We shall nonetheless move forward to carve a name for ourselves in the annals of bold insurgency and death-defying derring-do. Once I have a keen blade at my hip and the Jolly Roger is flapping high above me, I believe I will find my true calling.

oooh I didnt even catch that part about the sky going purple! He said that?! Interesting!!!
Yes Ben and Ethan are super creepy. I got chills when they were recruiting her while she was weeping for the dead ex husband. Her realization that he got "hit by a bus" when she said that during the interview. Ewww.. creepy..

Darling it says spoiler right in the title...why are you torturing yourself?iamcool wrote:why would you do this to me, are you trying to torture me?
My BF totally called that, as soon as she mentioned her ex getting hit by a bus to freaky eyeliner dude.Cuddlebunni wrote:The bus part scured me!! Totally wasnt expecting it!
Reminded me of final destination!
And I totally didnt realize the army guy who was with sayeed was the guy in the hatch originally (forgot his name) Learned that in the recap stuff
Kelvin(Clancy Brown)? Is AWESOME.
That could be verrry bad seeing as how they're taking Carl (Karl?) back with them to the island! Especially if it rains there. And he starts singing.djmadscribbler wrote:I agree about the brainwashing room. It reminded me of A Clockwork Orange when they bombard Alec with Beethoven's Glorious Ninth.
Grr I know!! Then again, I can't stand Kate to begin with...OOHHH - I also got very interested when Jack asked Tom why they just didn't take Ben to the mainland if they can do that and Tom started to say something about the sky going purple (which happened I believe when the time in the Swan ran down) and then Kate called in on the damn radio and that was it! How about the fact that Alex calls Ben her "father"? In other words--they stole her from Rousseau as a baby and she was raised by him?

As far as I remember, we've only seen Carl in the begining of this season when he was in a cage next to Sawyer and remember he escaped and whatnot?Cuddlebunni wrote:Do you think Alex really believes Ben is her father?
And Im confused, where the hell did Carl come from? Was he on the plane? Maybe thats already been answered but I dont remember.
I'm not sure. I can't imagine being okay with running away from your father as he's in life or death surgery, but then again, I can't imagine having a father on a weird deserted island that randomly captures people/animals and performs weird experiments on them. Even if she does think for some reason he is her Bio Dad (tm Heroes), I can't imagine that she would think she is a normal birth, seeing as she witnessed all the experiments they did on Claire.

I'm not sure where Carl came from, but he was in the bear cages already when Sawyer woke up there.
Edit: You beat me to it Mirage!

Yeah I remember seeing him in the cage.. and thats it.. so its good I didnt miss anything.
I love this show so much, but it leaves me wanting MORE MORE MORE lol.. and I want some answers to my questions! hehe
So we know about about Juli's impregnating skills (okay thats just hilariious sounding). So did they recruit her so that she could impregnate people on the island and they could have there own little manufactured community? Hmm...
Im also interested to find out if the others are being kept as "prisoners" as well... like her, or if they are all willing participants in bens stuff.

Unfortunately, I only just recently got HBO so I missed out on a lot of good shows, Carnivale being one of them.djmadscribbler wrote:I really like him as the reverend in Carnivale. Did you see that? He was pretty spooky!Mirage wrote: Kelvin(Clancy Brown)? Is AWESOME.
Clancy Brown has only been in 50 million different cartoons and video games, like Crash Bandicoot, SpongeBob, and Gargoyles. *lurve*
