"edit" protocol

Post by HazelButtercup »

When you write a reply in a forum and after you submit it, then realize you make a mistake, I know you can go back and edit it. I notice that many people put a note at the bottom of the message as to why they made the edit. Is this necessary? If it's just a minor edit, should you still put a note?

Nah, it's not necessary. We do it as a courtesy to other members who may be wondering what the edit was.
It's ALL connected...

I do it if someone else has already responded, etc.
