HSA - [discussion] Huh???

Ok, fellow HSA-ers, I'm totally lost. 
I know that I'm new, and I'm not supposed to figure out everything right away, but first I thought it was just assignments. Now there are videos, the password to bring it keeps changing, I'm finding strange stuff in Prof. Boone's and Ms. Kelly's offices 
, and I'm totally confused. I feel like an idiot, but is anyone willing to take pity on a newcomer and clue me in? Definitely not asking for the answers, but can someone give me a rundown of how all this works. I looked in the wiki and on the HSA site, but didn't really find much that actually helped. Thank you so much in advance for any help anyone can give me.
