So if Jonases parents were anti-order...
How did they know about it in the first place?

I think it's way likely they were part of it and realized it was wrong-( or were planted because they both were reqruited by an anti-order government agency. Government agencies have it out for each other all the time)- or the two both had family destroyed/brainwashed by it and decided to do something- apparently it has lots of contacts and I think that equates to lots of victims of their wide-sweeping and totally insane little league of super-jerks.

It's possible they were part of the Order. Or maybe Jonas's mom was one of the Order-babies like Bree!
What I'm wondering is if the organization that Tachyon and Brother work for is the same one that Jonas's dad is in. I mean, how many Anti-Order groups could possibly exist? lol
Also, Bree mentioned that Jonas's dad had knowledge about the political influence of the Order. Perhaps his parents were involved in government?
Hmm, what political career would require a lot of oversea travel?

A successful one, I think. International relations is a pretty broad range, really. Maybe they did so well they represented their country in a certian department, like natural resources- it could be anything since the order is so well connected. They could have run into them getting rid of some evidence on a campaign trail too. Like throwing away some ballots. They do that for school board elections in this country.JustAnotherLonelyGirl. wrote:

well my theory, as displayed in my fanfic story, I don't think the order was always secret. I think at one point The Order may have been considered a high religion of te world. BUT, somewheres along the line it got divided, because of change of opinions. So one side said, we do not agree with your practices. And the other side said screw you.
Its secret now however because of how horrible things got at one point. People decided that the spotlight wasn't the greatest thing for the order because of the illegal actions that they take to keep their believes alive.

You can't keep an oraganization THAT big a secret. Not really. Research is done by all kinds of academics on the Masons, Scientology, etc. It can be difficult to get the info but over time you can put bits and pieces together by following historical paper trails, talking with ex-devotee's. Getting chummy with some drunk who's dad was part of the deal. Interviewing family members who remember rumors or weird things that grandma did, etc. You don't have to be a part of something to find out about it.
