You can vote multiple times? That seems to defeat the purpose. Instead of a popularity contest it'll be a "whoever can click 'move to top' the most times" contest.
I'll vote once for each thing I would like to support. That's how voting should work in my opinion.

it looks like you can vote hourly. i have voted three times. i move lg15 to the top everytime, and i'd also like to move the next likely top candidates for votes to the bottom to lower their ranking, though i'm not sure who those would be.
multiple voting is the same as how the vh1 "big on 06" was done. i guess the idea is that whoever has the most numerous and dedicated fans will win, which is one measure of success.

I remember thinking that was lame too. I'm glad LG15 won it, but I think they'd have won it anyway.milowent wrote:multiple voting is the same as how the vh1 "big on 06" was done.
I don't think it really is. If you've got a few dozen fans who don't have to work or go to school (or who can frequently access the internet from either location), you're going to get hundreds of votes out of each one of them by the end of the week, whereas there might be equally dedicated fans in greater numbers for something else who can't do that.milowent wrote:i guess the idea is that whoever has the most numerous and dedicated fans will win, which is one measure of success.
Really, though, this is a gripe with YouTube. I'm not surprised they'd go about it this way, though. They tend to have difficulty going about things the best way in most respects.
Good luck to the LG15 series in winning the "Best Series" award. I gave it my vote.

in that case, i'm voting lg15 #1, and the nobody'swatching, ipod, and chad vader 8, 9, & 10. when i pull it up the voting, there is a default ordering that seems to be the same every time? that is going to favor those already higher up.Killthesmiley wrote:ivoted...
but honestly...the only three decent vids on there are LG15, Nobody's watch and Ipod Blender...
the rest of them are pure crap.

I voted LG15 #1 (because I love LG15 and that episode was just pure comedy with Bree kissing Thor), Nobody's Watching #2, MySpace in the Workplace #3 (LOL!), and iPod Blender #4. The rest of them I just left the same.
I voted before I viewed the rest of the posts and I should've moved the likely top candidates to the bottom so LG wins.
