i thought it may have something to do with Daniel and Jonas. *shrug*

I figured it was because 'free will' is supposed to be a major thing and the way Alex was talking they weren't upholding that.

but why would daniel call the video that?

Because if they (the order or religion, whatever) say that Free Will is a major part of their religion and it is used to draw people in, but then they go against that...it would make them "lying bastards'. Plus, Danny boy has a soft spot for Alex.

I thought it was Daniel calling Bree and Jonas lying bastards for telling him they went for fish tacos when it really was alone time.
