Hey Jonas, people keep bashing your choice of having a piece in that other thread, so I created a new one about how awesome it was that you had one.
Pretty kick ass move if I do say so myself. Well, pointing it at Daniel? Not so much. But pointing it at your crazy evil bitch aunt? Awesome.

Yeah, I think it was a wise move to have that gun for added protection. I realize that it gives you a sense of security. However, please be careful.

Precisely why I think it was a good thing. I don't think anyone can deny that Jonas went a liiiiittle crazy with it, and pointing it at Daniel was definitely the wrong idea, but ultimately the value of having a weapon cannot be stressed enough.

I'm afraid my temper is getting a bit hot here too. Starting a new post won't stop people coming here to "bash" Jonas' choice. A bad decision is a bad decision. Jonas should never have had a gun. Nobody should have a gun unless they are well trained in how to use it. That's an unmovable point. You don't give Clorox to a baby, you don't dump a non-swimmer into the deep end and you don't give guns to teens.

You don't think it's cool Jonas had a gun. You started a thread about it, telling him why you thought it wasn't. I can completely respect your opinion.
I thought it was smart for Jonas to get a gun. He didn't handle the situation well, but if I were him, I would have armed myself AGES ago. So I started a separate thread to tell him just that.
I'm not trying to keep other opinions out. And I certainly didn't mean to make you mad. I just started a different thread based on my opinions which are opposite of yours. I hope you can respect that as well and not get mad about it.
