A complaint from a lot of ladies posting on the forum

I know this sounds trivial, but it's been said over and over for months now by many of the women on the forum.

Why can't we see the boys shirtless, or in shorts, or in swimming trunks?

We've seen Bree in short shorts, halter tops, etc. Why not the same for the guys?

C'mon, pretty please? I don't think it would interfere with the PG13 rating, as kids see people dressed like this at the beach everyday. As a matter of fact, it's weird to see D&J (and Alex, I guess) go to the beach fully dressed.

Flaunta, I hope you leave this here. A lot of the ladies have been repeatedly asking for this, and I want to make it official.

I must agree. Seeing the boys at the beach fully clothed (and what was with Jonas's hat?) while we see Alex running around half naked...That's just not fair for your female viewers.

I'm going to argue with Juli and Polka here.

For Polka -- I am a "female viewer" and I don't care whether the guys keep their clothes on or not. For that matter, I don't care whether the current female actors keep their clothes on either. I'm not into girly-girls. (Now if Tachyon had ever been shown, OTOH . . . )

And for Juli -- what makes you think that "ladies" are the only ones who would like to see the guys less clothed? I know of at least one gay man who used to frequent this forum. And I'd lay odds that there are some bisexual guys hanging around here too. Maybe they'd like to see Yousef or Jackson shirtless too. Let's make the LG15 forum a welcoming place that's inclusive of people of all sexual orientations.

Finally, the poll is invalid because it doesn't provide genuine choices. The only alternative to the "shirtless" option -- your favored option -- is an extreme. "Fully covered forever and ever, amen"? Who's going to choose that, when you make it sound so lame? How about an option like "What you're doing is fine -- I hadn't noticed any problems"? Or "I don't give a flying . . . fig what the guys wear"?

To be fair, Juli didn't say that there aren't any gay or bi guys that might want to see that (the poll itself asks for gay guys, though — if the poll allows room — bi guys should be added). She just said that it's been females who have asked for it so far, which — to the best of my knowledge — is true. I can't remember if any of our professing gay or bi guys have said they'd like to see some of that, but it's possible they have.

Point taken.

She didn't say "females" -- she said "ladies." Plural of "lady," which is defined as "a woman who is refined, polite, and well-spoken."

Seems to me that if a female is asking to see males wearing less clothing, she's the opposite of "refined" or "polite."

LMAO, Kelly.

ETA: Why, Lass? Refined, polite women like to see the beefcake too!

And there is no need for an option, "I like things the way they are", because them fully clothed is how it's been up until this point. Your option choice would then be to see them fully dressed always.

I did forget the bi men, my apologies, guys. You are included in this survey.

Lass, you just hate this poll, don't you?

OK, maybe I should have said "straight women".

I take credit for starting the shirtless conversations in these forums by demanding in a poll that Jonas take off his bloody shirt.
