ABOUT THE LIVE CHAT?

Why does it say I must register a name if I'm already logged in?

Yeah, it's doing that to me too, San. I can't get in there.

When that happens to me, I click again on the word chat in the menu bar and it takes me right in there. PM Broken Kid if this does not work for you.

I click on "chat." Then, when I get the "enter chat" page, I ignore it all and click again on the word "chat" on the menu bar and I'm in. Let me know if it works for you, OK?

Chat never works for me.
Is there an official or "official" IRC-chat?

No, none official. Have you tried the method I figured out to get around the problem?

People have had problems like this in the past. Usually, if you go strait to the main page, log in, and click the chat link; it works. If you use the chat link from the forum or the lgpedia, you might have problems.

you have to first log onto lg15 main page then click "chat" once your logged on. I had to figure that one out the hard way

The chat functionality is strange. If I click the "Multi-User Chat" button from the forum, it says I have to be logged in. However, if you go to the main page at www.lonelygirl15.com and login and click chat from there, it works fine.

Note that if I close out of chat and then click it again, I get a message saying that name is already registered or such. So I close the window, go back to the main page, and the chat button works fine again.

Just some little quirks that should be easy enough to work around! Of course other tips are to make sure cookies and popups are not blocked for the site. If you still have problems after trying those things, please let me know and I'll pass it on to the Creators' web guys.

Well that's no good! Most of the time I've been there, it's been quite nice. Most of the people are a lot of fun! :)

Fair enough, I'll give it another go some other time.
