(from wiki)
he Baby-sitters Club' is a series of children's books, written by Ann M. Martin and published by Scholastic between 1986-2000. Many of the books were ghostwritten, including 43 by Peter Lerangis [1]. However, Ann Martin wrote the first 35 books [2].
This series is about a group of middle school students living in the fictional town of Stoneybrook, Connecticut. They run a business called The Baby-sitters Club, in which parents call during their club meetings (which take place M-W-F, 5:30-6:00pm) and schedule a babysitter for a certain day/time. The club runs financially on dues and fundraising, and the babysitters write diaries of their jobs, to help each other. The members of the club are also best friends, although they go through many conflicts throughout the series.
now lets get out of the heros topic

I read one of those books... About ten years ago.
About this girl babysitting a kid named Jamie (wow my memory is good) who got beaten by his father
It was sad... But the book sucked

I liked it when they'd go on their trips (the bigger white books) like the cruise, or to dawn's dad in cali!

um what was it ... the little sisters club? it was the main character of the Babysitters clubs step sister or something. I remember she was a big brat, but there were divorced families so my mom thought it was a good book for me

The only ones I ever read were the Babysitter's Little Sister ones or something. They were pretty sucky actually. But I read them, nevertheless. (I'm a huge bookworm and will read anything)
In a different thread...can't remember which one....we were talking about this.
What was the weird word they kept on saying throughout the books? I can't remember and I never really got what it meant and why they said it.

my mom is an elementry school librarian and they still have those books, from when they where popular and some past librarian bought almost all of them I thing. Mummy said no one checks them out now though. How sad. They should come back, though I'm not quite sure why because my mom never let me read them.

I'm gonna start changing in once a week because I'm a big huge dork.
I was on OhNoTheyDidn't's LJ and ironically enough, they had a story about Ann S. Martin confirmed lesbian! And provided links....so I clicked onh the links, and she was confirmed this back in 2006. So why is OhNo just printing an article now and acting like it just happened?

Slow gossip day? I mean, the only juicy gossip today was what? Lindsay Lohan sucking down 2.5 grams of blow by herself and claiming to have banged Jude Law? They were desperate for news
