Is it just me or does anyone else see the potential needle mark on the back of her elbow/arm area... area used to for some kinda of injection... maybe epogen? ...
taken from Jules Myspace....
idk.. maybe, maybe not.. though Bree's injections were given in the shoulder area... what do you think?

it looks more like an IV bruise to me rather than a shot.

Epogen is supposed to be dosed IV, not IM (intramuscular) like Bree's shots were given. Maybe her parents read the instructions first (or maybe Bree's dad was giving them the wrong way on purpose)

someone's done their research...
and it's possible that mr. bree was doing it wrong on purpose... he had been doubting the order anyways...

I work in biotech/pharma...for once it helps me out outside of work!
Sometimes I wonder if this whole series is paid for by Johnson & Johnson. Buy Procrit--the non-Order way to treat anemia!
Seriously, though, epogen is given to prevent the need for a blood transfusion. I think the ceremony may involve significant amounts of blood loss. Maybe the injections are to prevent the girl from dying during the ceremony?
They should probably change their strategy, though...Amgen just released a warning that injections of epogen to people with hemoglobin above 12 can cause heart attacks!
