I just had a thought-what if the symbol Bree found is the order's symbol for ENEMY. Like, it's there because Jonas's family is an enemy of the order, and they keep tabs on them through those things.

KK, just try to stay with me for this.
Say all the symbols in the file are for different types of people Op watches. Enemies, Families with Ceremony daughters, etc. And the the symbol pertaining to the family it's with is planted there with SOME sort of thing on it. A sound chip, a tracking device. Something of the sort.

Iunno, I can tell while writing this it's FULL of holes. So I'll stop. XD

I totally agree that's a possibility for sure... I've been thinking it could be that since I first saw the video. I like the idea of "opposites".

True True...I remember AP said something like the 2nd symbol was just the female version of the first symbol...that kind of stuck out to me. Maybe it would mean opposite--and Bree is freaking out over nothing.

Hey - long time lurker, finally got around to signing up - this is just getting too good. anyway, i digress. I was thinking about the symbols, and I am sure this has been pointed out somewhere before, but isn't the same one NikkIB found on the box when she went clue hunting under the bridge. I'm not sure if we're meant to discount that because technically she's not involved....but anyways... its my first post, be gentle!

Welcome MrsMoose! Yes, the watchers eye symbol was first introduced to us by Nikki B - it was kind of a precursor to what was to come. In retrospect, it was out first hint that the storylines were merging.

Hi Emersion! Welcome!
Can you find the link to that? We'd all be interested in reading what you found.

Although I didn't find the post I saw...
A better theory was found!
The Two pictures are two sides of the same table type thing (Good vs. Evil)
http://lonelygirl15.com/forum/viewtopic ... &start=300
This may prove Jonas was misjudged...
But if the other theory is right it could lead to many a complications like the symbol bree showed us was 2/3 of the order and the other was 3/4 of the order...
But I think Jonas was misjudged

Edit:

After a long search I found it
Interestingly, the Egyptians never added the pupil to the Eye, and represented the iris as a white disk. The theory presented in this page is that the black pupil = darkness and death. Oh look what the Watcher / Theta+Nu symbol have: a pupil in the eye.

I think this is a dead end at the moment, although an Egyptological/numerological hermetic Order with an eye for a symbol would certainly have been aware of this number system.
I found it here http://www.lonelygirl15.com/forum/viewt ... 4&start=15

Hope this helps :D
