As I'm posting this I'm eating a fish taco and drinking a Tecate (found in some hole in the wall packy in RI by my BF's coworkers), so it's very appropriate. It's how I roll.

(Doubtfully brought by her because she was told of an island stay for only a couple months) And same for Kate...unless it's all an IUD, which I would like to be told about, thank you very much, because it seems to be a gaping plot hole otherwise. Y'know?

I know - that's crazy isn't it. I loved Hurley in this episode because he got all the great lines - "Ooops" and more importantly "What?". I agree that Juliet is a ninja - but I'm trying to decide on whether or not she's going to turn on Ben "I hate you" or do what she's supposed to (whatever it may be) in the hope she might still get off the island.Mirage wrote:Holy shit.
Typical Lost, huh?PolkadotConfederation wrote:That episode was...interesting. And the ending was...unexpected. It answered a lot of questions, but at the same time, managed to make everything ten times as confusing.

I was SO glad that he didn't do his typical "dude" instead of the "what". I might have thrown a bottle at the teevee.djmadscribbler wrote: I know - that's crazy isn't it. I loved Hurley in this episode because he got all the great lines - "Ooops" and more importantly "What?".
Maybe that's what the writers are setting up for--a crisis of conscious where she still wants to get off the island but has grown to semi-care for the Losties...I don't know, I'm still holding off on the hope that Jack is still a brainwashed Other and that him AND Juliet (who is a ninja) are evil. It's an interesting arguement--what's better, to stay and help your friends on the island (who have "voted" you as the leader) or to leave the island and perhaps get help?I agree that Juliet is a ninja - but I'm trying to decide on whether or not she's going to turn on Ben "I hate you" or do what she's supposed to (whatever it may be) in the hope she might still get off the island.
My guess is that Mikhail and Locke are/were in cahoots. Perhaps the fence wasn't as deadly as was assumed and Locke was just providing Mikhail with a means of escape--remember, he said "Thank You" after the deed was done. I don't think that the island can bring people back to life--like you said, US Marshall, Ethan, Goodwin...hell lets throw in The Pilot, Boone, Shannon, Scott/Steve, Gary "Purgatory" Troup (the guy sucked into the engine in the first episode), the chick Ethan had murdered, Ana Lucia, Eko, Libby, blown-to-pieces Artz....the list goes on and on of dead folk. So yeah--the island is not powerful enough to bring people back from the pearly gates, but it can cure everything else--at least, faster? But that doesn't explain Ben. *sigh* I'm confused. As for Mikhail and his whole things heal differently here - that sure didn't seem to help the US Marshall, Ethan, Goodwin etc. But as I said earlier - I'm loving this season!
