Hi - I don't know if this was ever discussed, but I found this link
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/quer ... uids=10033
That describes 10033 as a gene - arylsulfatase E pseudogene - which is found on chromosone Y.
I know Tach has talked about X and Y before, and of course we know all about the late Mr Bree's work experience. Could "Brother" be a gene experiment?
Has this been discussed somewhere?

The X and Y Tach is talking about is a type of puzzle she's given us.
How to do it is here:

There seems to be a lot of hints towards genetic experiments. I never thought there was any significance behind Brother's name though...good catch!

Thanks - I don't know if it means anything - I just got all excited when I found it, hehe.

*Claps!* Brilliant!
Pub med can be evil, so I'll try to do some more research about the gene. Good job!
Edit:
Found this:
http://www.genecards.org/cgi-bin/carddisp.pl?gene=ARSEP
It has some interesting numbers:
Yq11.21 (the Entrez Gene cytogenetic band? not sure what that is)
q11.21 (the location of the gene on the chromosome: not sure what the numbers mean, but the q refers to the q arm of the chromosome)
Also, the gene is 15,261 bp long.
Anyways, hope this is relevent.

10033 seems to be a reference to a character in issue #41 of the comic Y: The Last Man Standing. There was a thread about this before somewhere.

Maybe he's like an experiment. Like Disney's Lilo and Stitch (he's Experiment 626)
LOL
(Yay, my 100th post!)

That's a cool theory.. but what's the gene for?
Bree said only girls get abducted for the ceremony.. maybe there is another ceremony that needs boys!
